Yes, you’re right. And Ciprico is a strong company, the huge raid is just old now and on its way out, it was rock solid until fairly recently.
The work is not heavy editing but I do have to ingest/output 720p 59.94 thru the Kona2 a few times a week.
We are aiming for $1k to $3k, and right now are leaning towards a Sans Digitial MobileRAID Series MR5S1 – 5-Bay RAID 6 Enclosure. (3.75TB and $3k)
Wondering if anybody has experience with Sans Digital.
