well since c4d renders all it’s passes at the same time ( i.e one render produces all the pass files) it would be best to simply use object id’s and create matts

The particles are really just point in space and so will collide from the point center, to get the particles to react in a more realsitic way you could use object as the collision type with offset and / or use the collision option of geometry (needs editable meshes as particles)

with geometry the actaula ploys are taken into account for the collisions
