Getting one in a couple weeks. any suggestions for a good adjustable height floor stand? won’t be able to wall mount in new location. I’ve seen photos of a stand that has 2 round chrome poles that looks perfect but cannot find it online.

Juan, would scope box run on a new 17″ macbook pro / bmd intensity extreme? (of course it would be analog component input)

Is there a standard “cheapest box” that people are using for the ultrascope?https://www.postandbeam.tv

tried them all at nab.
I’ve had the jl cooper eclipse cx since they came out over 4(?) years ago.
the elements are nicer. definitely. rings and balls are smoother, better displays, knobs, buttons.
i would say the davinci panels are really not that much better in feel than the tangents, but of course the mapping is perfect. but you can’t use them on anything else.
if your business model supports spending an extra $25k for the davincis, then get them. but i’m selling the eclipse and getting the tangents…https://www.postandbeam.tv

Not having a Mac pro with Cuda cards is going to limit you so much that I don’t think the difference between hd analog component and hd sdi is going to be a big issue. You’ll be able to monitor fine.
For a small system like this the intensity should by fine. Use the extra money to get more ram, internal ssd, and WD thunderbolt external hard drive (it has two tbolt ports I think)https://www.postandbeam.tv
