Hey guy’s thanks for the replies,
In the initial shot that I plan to use there are only the lights on a white panel shot from the side. I may use a wide shot of the panel and control room which has the operator in the shot.
The lights are small, about the size of the top of my thumb from th knuckle but given that we are all different in size that may not mean much. When they did light up they were not really bright enough to light up anything.
