    Doesn’t make any difference. Happens when FCP is running or not, in space 2 or any other space assignment. short of reinstalling everything, i don’t think anything will work.

    What’s interesting is that it doesn’t happen on other systems that i work on. Very annoying indeed, as spaces (from what I have found is not that used amongst other people I know), is a huge time saver.

    I bet that’s what I did. Interesting. I’ve never used the search bar in the project window, so I wouldn’t have thought about that possiblity, but good to know. I am so anal about how I organize my project and where I place things. When I teach AE, that is the one thing I try to drive into the students minds as much as possible. Thanks.

    thanks adriano, i will mess around with the expression parameters, although as I mentioned, expressions are not my strong suit, so it will be a trail and error.
    thanks again

    Hey Dave,
    I have tried that, but either I’m not applying wiggler to the right attribute, or it’s not really able to single out each letter to vary the amount its fading up and down as it eventually builds up to 80.

    but i ended up doing it the slow way and repeating the shoes via layers, creating one spiral of them, and then just duplicating them, adjusting the z value. I just couldn

    Hi Mike,
    Yes, I would like a spiral expression. Here’s a link to the style frames:

    https://web.mac.com/pabastin/iWeb/Shoes/Style%20frames.html

    In starting the animation, and the path that the shoes go on, I tried this expression on one shoe to, that when duplicating the layer it woould offset each one to start giving it the depth I need and for the camera to eventually go past and follow
    x = value[0] + 530;
    y = value[1] – 360;
    z = value[2] + 200;
    [x,y,z]
    and I thought that duplicating each layer, it would give me the results of frame one before I would then add in to the expression a rotation factor, to start it’s spiral. But when I duplicated with the expression above, nothing changed.

    Thanks again,
    Paul
