  • Hi,

I am new to editing and premiere pro. I must say i really enjoy this site. I am a nurse by trade so I am slowly going through the concepts of premiere pro in my spare time. What I am struggling to understand is the outcome of sequencing itself.

Q1. Is sequencing equal to codecs?
Q2. If so how can different sequences in a project be compatible to play on a dvd like say here in australia.
Q3. If I use the same camera to shoot standard and high definition, should I use different sequences for each clip?
Q4. If using different sequences for standard and high difinition will the rendering process at the end be able to convert the picture for widescreen high def?

Sorry I don’t even know if these questions would make sense or they are just silly. I really enjoy putting together quality photo and movie presentations from my Cannon powershot s100 and using a blend of youtube clips etc. I have used pinnacle in the past, but now would like a step up to something a bit more pro.

    Thanks for your time

    Warm Regards

    Paula
