I saw this video from Siggraph where an Nvidia rep explains the new Quadro 4000 coming to the Mac in October which has 2x performance over Quadro 4800.

Here is a link, it\’s towards the end of the video.

Los Angeles, California. Thanks for your help. Our company purchased it from a nearby Decklink reseller. If you can verify that the serial is from a older model card then could you tell me what serial would be a good number. I could then call and exchange it for a card with a proper serial. I’d be willing to get the the pro model if it work properly.

    Callum,

The serial # for the card is B7898. I tried your suggestion and rolled back to driver 1.2. I tried testing every update up to the latest 1.8.3. none worked. I am 100% certain I’m on the right firmware for the JVC deck. At this point I think I’ll be taking the card back for a refund.

Yes, I’m aware of the document on Decklink’s website, I followed it and have updated the firmware to version v108. I still am unable to get a clean signal to digitize. Video flashes a few frames a second instead of 24 or 30 frames per second.

My system is a Mac Pro Intel 2.66 Dual Core with 4GB of RAM, running OS X 10.4.11, QuickTime 7.4.1. Intensity Driver version 1.8.3. The drive configuration is apple xsan raid. I’ve tested capturing to xsan raids as well as internal harddrives.

Playback out of Intensity via HDMI plays fine.

I am connected Intensity card (non-pro model) via HDMI. In the system preferences the card is recognized. I have tried both FCP and Decklink control panel application to test, both produce the same result.

In addition, my source is HDV 720p 24 & HDV 720p 30, both shot on the JVC GY-HD110U.
