<p>Yes, what a bad idea to have a pointer with two points. To be consistent, Apple should use the blade image for the &#8216;Blade&#8221; edit option. Otherwise, they must rename it &#8220;Scissors&#8221;.</p>
<p>There is a &#8220;Provide final cut pro feedback&#8221; inside Final Cut&#8217;s first menu. I will do that.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m possitive that you can capture composite video directly with your UltraStudio HD Mini. The &#8220;Y&#8221; component input is the one that accepts the  composite video signal. If you have RCA cables, then you should get an RCA to SDI adapter and 2 RCA to 1/4&#8243; audio adapters as well.</p>

Then use Blackmagic Desktop Video to capture your videos and then import them into FCP.</p>

<p>I think the Blackmagic UltraStudio HD Mini is what you need. It has a whole array of analog audio and video conectors for digital capture. You may need and adapter for the thunderbolt 3 connector though.</p>

<p>Changing the suffix or your .mov file to .mp4 may work for you. It does it all the time for me.</p>
