OK, so I realized what was going on. Once I relinked my media there were a few files that were unimportant and, figuring that the linked files were actually linked, I pressed the Cancel button. Big mistake. I had to highlight all of the unlinked files and press Offline and then PP closes the window itself. Problem solved. I hope this helps someone else one day.
