Thanks for your prompt reply.
I understand that your method will work and thank you very much for that, if nothing else comes about, I will have to use that as my ultimate solution.

RATHER, though, I was hoping there was some way to link the keyframes to the video so when the video was affected, the keyframes stuck with the original spots on the video.
Example: If keyframe #2 is at a position 15 seconds into the video, if I now drag the left end of the video 5 seconds over to the right (i.e. start the video 5 seconds into the original video), I wanted the keyframe to now be 10 seconds into the new (shorter) video automatically without me having to do the maths of figuring out how much to move them before doign the time-shift edit.

…Still hoping there is a solution.
