February 20, 2018 at 1:03 am in reply to: Screen Freezing A Few Minutes Into Rendering SequenceAlright so I tried the render in AME, and got the log after, it appears to have some sort of issue with h.264 hardware encoding which would make sense, so I installed apples quicktime components and the same thing happened. Ill paste the exact code from the logs below, I looked up parts and didn’t really reach a conclusion, lots of different things in different places.

February 19, 2018 at 10:25 pm in reply to: Screen Freezing A Few Minutes Into Rendering SequenceSo the same thing happened when I sent it to AME, and used AME to export a file to h.264. The second time I exported a file that was located on the desktop to the desktop to see if it could be the external hard drive, still same issue. I’m thinking of maybe going to an older version of Premiere Pro and seeing if that works.

February 18, 2018 at 5:15 pm in reply to: Screen Freezing A Few Minutes Into Rendering SequenceI rendered from an external drive and thought it might be a thru put issue. So I put the a piece of footage on the internal and the same result. Also rendering and all that was to the internal. It has plenty of space. Half of it I believe is empty.
I’ll try the AME idea, to see if its Premiere only. I also may try rendering something on After Effects as well just to see.
The event logs I didn’t even think about but thats a great suggestion, so I’m going to try that to!
Thanks! I’ll post updated results in a few hours!

Unfortunately yes, a lot of it is sped up to different speeds but its a film shot completely POV with music and such. I’m starting to think I might have to find a way to edit it with cuts cause it might be the only way. The problem is even if I cut the footage, ill have to cut back to it, and I will have to make the tracks and objects and such in the scene seem seamless between cuts.
I wasn’t aware tracking does that much on the computer. Maybe I should try my Mac Pro when I get back home and see if that gives me a better result.
Its got 12 gigs of graphics, tons of ram, the whole deal. Still though the laptop is a pretty great computer and can handle just about everything I throw at it. Redcode raw 4k footage, blackmagic etc.

Thanks, that’s what I thought but I just wanted to make sure do you know of anyway to capture the video data to a hard drive and capture it in some kind of pro res I use Final Cut Pro by the way, I have heard of the Ki Pro but that’s to expensive, it would be really nice to be able to use the cameras I have to shoot really nice and not to compressed footage. File sizes are not a big deal to me I have plenty of hard drive space on external hard drives and I can always get more
