Same problem for me, I was shooting a TV show and the camera stopped working during the shoot!
This is outrageous!! Panasonic should not just pay for the repair itself (OBVIOUSLY!!) as they should also pay some kind of indemnization to the professionals who spent money on their cameras and ended up screwed over and losing money!! One thing is a hack with a TV set, which is for entertainment purposes, another thing is a hack with professional equipment, which we professionals use for working and making a living!! And I really cannot understand people who stay on these big billion making companies side against people who are trying to make a living! The money we spend for repairing the camera is a lot of money for us, on the other hand it’s less than peanuts for Panasonic and other big companies, and probably much less than whay they pay to all their employees in China!
