OK, I got it rendered. I’m not sure I got all the specs exactly right, but at least I got it posted on time.

You deserve a medal, or something.

I am looking forward to time to finish all of rest of the training DVD’s.

OK, I got the Noise Reduction I need in Sound Forge. It’s not perfect, but it will probably hold me until I can get to the VASST training DVD.

Great! I’ll probably install it next week, since the .MTS files are working.

I am working on EQ, and then Noise Reduction. I can open Noise Reduction as a copy in Sound Forge, but then how do I send it back to Vegas when I am done?

I was using vpro9x32 by default, because I wanted to use Cineform. (But as previously stated, there was no sound.) I have not loaded the NeoScene x64 Beta yet, but would be interested to know how people find it.

Funny. As you suggested, I opened vpro9x64, and I get sound on the .MTS file! Project Properties is at 32-bit floating point (full range). I played through the timeline once, and so far it works.

    Moving forward on vpro9x64!

I just opened up 8.1, and it has sound. So I will try it that way.

    Wow, that helps. Thanks!!

The Cineform files have no audio track. The original .MTS files have an audio track. I wrote Cineform, to see what they say.

Since the narration track is only 4 minutes long I decided to try to try using the original .MTS files. However, although the audio waveform shows up, there is no sound. (I can get sound by playing music in Windows Media Player.)

    Ideas? Thanks!

    Hi Joshua.
Thank you for taking the time.
That is very good to know.
