    yo,

look at the text animation presets, if u have AE 6.5. In the folder expressions u will find: current time format, i believe. throw that on some text in a pre comp of 10min. then time reverse that pre comp in the final comp. that should do it, if I am not mistaking here.

check the tutorials on http://www.trapcode.com, they will explain it to you. basiclly you need to duplicate the layer with the stroke effect, and place one in frotn of the object and one behind, then play with the visibility properties of the front one.

    hello,

I would make al the animations of the classroom in max, and then simply import as an image sequence in AE, where you make the text and animate that.
does your camera move each time you hilight a door? or only when you enter it? if you go for the first option, you will have to make a menu for each button and work with the auto activate function in Encore.

but for both options i would still render all the needable animations in max, (one for each door if you work with a center point where the cam always comes back, if you want to go from door to door it gets a bit more complicated, i think)

I hope someone will correct me, if I am wrong. But thats the way I would do it. if you understand it, my enlish is not 100%

what do you want to know? it is not possible to bend layers in AE, if i am correct. so you need to make that ribbon in 3d prog. animate it theren and import the sequence with alpha in AE.

    if that is your question.

    yo,

the last one looks pretty high end to me, not the invention of the wheel. But I wish I made it, nice color palette.

    yo

    simply type: wiggle(4,50,3)

the numbers are of course for you to make out. the first one (4) is the frequenty of the jiggle (or wiggle), the second one (50) is the amount, the third one (3) is for you to find out, i keep it on 3 usually.

the best thing about this expression, is that you can still use keyframes to position and animate your layer.

    have fun

    hi,

have you put on motion blur? if not, that could solve it.

Does it stutter on the monitor? Do you work with fields? Exporting it interlaced could also smooten it, if I am correct.

January 4, 2006 at 11:27 am in reply to: Creating Lower 3rds for Premiere in AE

    Hey,

what is a lower 3rd? I am foreign, and havent run in to that term yet. I understand the rest about the alpha and all, so I guess it is a partial layer that contains for example the name of the subject, (like with interviews, I dont know these terms in English)

    Thanx.
