look at the text animation presets, if u have AE 6.5. In the folder expressions u will find: current time format, i believe. throw that on some text in a pre comp of 10min. then time reverse that pre comp in the final comp. that should do it, if I am not mistaking here.

January 12, 2006 at 3:08 pmif you have 6.5 it’s pretty easy using the text animation preset “Current Time Format” in the expressions group. It shows Hours:Min:Sec:Frames. You can always mask out the hours and frames (the rapid frame numbers only counts down from 30 in my experience). It will count ascending so make a pre comp it, enable time remaping and reverse the begining and end keyframes.
I’m not an expressions expert but it looks like all the preset does is enter an expression into the Source text atribute of timeToCurrentFormat()
Maybe there is a better expression but this worked for me
Hope it helps

January 12, 2006 at 3:34 pminteresting thought and I tried a bunch of places with the -, and multiplying by -1. the best I got was a cyclops smile in the expression.

January 13, 2006 at 3:30 amI made one for our new-years party by using the effect Video:Timecode, and changing the default frames/sec to hundredths of a second. …and of course, run it backward.
Caveat: Couldn’t seem to change the font.Antifreeze Design
