It actually has zero to do with FCP7 and is just a consequence of architectural updates in High Sierra. There are also a sea of 32-bit only apps about to cease functioning in iOS 11 as well.

Sounds like an issue to bring to Mozilla’s attention then. Though I’m guessing they’ve long known about it for a while already and perhaps don’t consider color accurate web video a major priority?
