What does it harm there are two? Can you just label one as BACKUP and call it good?

It would be more relevant if you were cutting to time but if you were cutting to content it would be fluid and not that important.

Unless the clip being referencing is baked in from the event itself i.e. not a Compound Clip you won’t be able to replace it 10 times automatically. Some stuff you still gotta put in the sweat to complete.

Smart collections are better for automatically organizing clips with specific characteristics than making selects. Selects are what keywords and favoriting ranges are designed for.

The more interesting story to me is how the acquisition went down and whether iDraw is still being developed by the same team @ Indeeo. If you check out their Facebook and twitter pages you can see where they disappeared from FB around January and Twitter around May.

No timeline markers. However if you think about how the magnetic timeline works it would not be much use anyway. If you really want something like it- add a project length generator and disable it. Then you can put a marker anywhere you want. But it would still move relative to the connection point so it’s not really a viable workflow in FCPX.
Better to put markers on specific clips and seek them in the timeline index.

Don’t know as this sounds like a bit of a hot mess. But this would maybe be better asked on the Resolve official forum as this doesn’t sound very FCPX-specific.

Banding depends on a lot of factors. If you have other footage run through the same system you haven’t noticed banding that’s one thing. But generally speaking it’s pretty much whatever you put in you get out. And typically banding is the fault of the monitor not FCPX.

Banding may be due to limitations of your screen. Check on a broadcast monitor and export at Optimized/Original.
