  • Thank you Eric. The issue with Resolve and Avid Symphony co-existing and benefitting from the GPU boost I think has to do with which version of CUDA both applications are compatible with, and I think Avid is behind on this (per usual) so it might not work out. Anyhow, if your engineers have an answer to this it’ll be greatly appreciated.

    I expect to put in an order for the Cubix Xpander in a week,

    Gradient isn’t too slow I think. No 8 bit effects in the comp.

    Hi Walter and thanks for your reply.

    The issue I’m having occurs way before I even get to render anything for the Avid. The banding occurs at the AE level and when I’m previewing the AE composite on my video monitor.

    I might need to try my luck with this query at the Trapcode forum, unless you have any idea why this is occurring.
