now wipe your hard drive re-install everything and start again.

I’ve a pair of Alesis point sevens since 1999, One of the best purchases I’ve ever made. We just started an audio department which My brother runs and I gave them to him, I going to shell out some cash for a pair of genelec 8030’s
I had the privalage of working with gen 1029’s in my Avid days and found that although the alesis were fantastic, they fooled when mixing for video depending on the room I was in, never had that problem with the Gen’s.
Make sure your speaker are not too close to you, very important, and sound treat your room however you can.

I would say Tape as an aquisition format, is now packing it’s bags to move out of the premises. For mastering and delivery to stations they will still be around.
Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it a matter of a software update in the new decks (Pro HD that is) to ad extra features like the just did with the spx800. So far does not seem like a bigge to me.
