Hey Jerry,

Thanks for the response. RT was set to SAFE. I eventually had to switch mine over to UNLIMITED in order to speed up the work flow. Unfortunately I am getting Dropped Frames in the Playback as soon as I use 3 or more video layers.

Thanks for the response. Here is the info for both systems:

Mine System:
CPU – MAC G5 Version 10.5.8 (Processor 2 x2.8GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon)
RAM – 6GB 800MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
Video Card – ATI Radeon HD 2600
FCP – 6.0.6

Other System:
CPU – MAC G5 version 10.4.11 (Processor 2 x 2.66GHx Dual Core Intel Xeon)
RAM – 7GB 667MHz DDR FB-DIMM
Video Card – NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT
FCP – 6.0.6

Noticed that it is not happening so much with shorted (40sec) sequences.

Shooting P2. I am trying to access the Thumbnail menu in the VCR Mode but am not able to do so because I am not getting an image when I hit the VCR button.

Hey Jeremy,

Thanks for writing back. Unfortunately the only way to get to the VCR menu is by pressing a button (no switch) so I cannot perform that operation when the camera is off.
