hummm… got to look into that , i got to be honest, i presume but i really dont know what that proxy stream is.

is it something like the vasst aplication taking care of the file reading hard work while i can normaly edit it on vegas through the preview window? kindda like having an auxiliary engine to vegas itself?

    full? really?
but wont that make it strugle even more?

in fact i lowered my dinamic ram preview to 1024 gb instead of the 2048 i had cause i read that it was stopping vegas from using all that memory that was reserved to dinamic ram preview only.
    is this correct ?

i do a lot of ram previews during editing but what i really need is some smoothness of playback during the small parts im editing so i can see what im doing in real time.
