[Michael Phillips] “Thank God it wasn’t keyframed, imagine the extra work!”

My thoughts exactly! Premiere Pro and FCPX had no issues so I completed the comp outside of MC.

Got it to work but what a faff! Step into the clip and adjust fill in Frameflex to desired reposition. Go to alpha and manually add the new coordinates to match the fill.
I had to go and a get a pen and paper!!!
If anyone can improve on that then I’m all ears!!

Whilst we’re travelling down memory lane…..

Did anyone else use a Paltex Esprit Edit controller in their linear suites? I joined a broadcaster in the early nineties that had bought one for some obscure reason. Coming from Sony 9000’s it was an absolute ball ache to use.
I think we had to export EDL’s in CMX via a floppy disk to a PC to edit every time we needed to ripple the record time!
(Or maybe I’ve made that up, it been a while!) I can still hear the sound of that solid metal shuttle controller grinding away whilst editing…..

The problem with this is that the timeline history frequently gets lost when you have more than a handful of timelines open. You end up having to relaunch your sequences and then it gets very confusing whether you need to go forward or backward in the navigation. In concept, it’s fine. In actual practice, it’s very buggy.

Right clicking reveals previously loaded timelines, makes life a little easier!

Try remaking the MC clip but change the option for Angle Assembly from Automatic to Clips

Glad that worked for you. I think this crept in with 10.4. Definitely worth reporting to Apple in Feedback
