I'm a bit of a "Jill of all trades," but with a focus. I have an academic background in literature, film, and media studies, and the bulk of my professional experience since 2007 has been in film/video/TV editing and post-production. I also have experience doing technical writing in the field of media, subtitle translation for feature films (Spanish/English), graphic design, Spanish and English copy editing, film and video workflow management, photography/videography, and even dialogue coaching. I believe my academic background has given me strong skills in analysis and research that allow me to branch out as much as I do without sacrificing expertise. I have held various supervisory positions (everything from post-production supervision to university-level instruction), but my favorite jobs involve hands-on work.
