    This is a nice little script that will allow you to create multiple comps from a spreadsheet. When done you can then drop them into a master comp sequentially. and than use particular as stated by ted.

    Don’t have any examples, but what I’m doing is generate a camera move between the lettering of the logo which then pull out to reveal the logo, very much like the HBO opens do. but as I’m passing through the letters I want some random reflected light back at the camera. I may have come up with one idea, attaching a couple different lights with flares to an emitter, but I am looking for something more… Random I guess, the flares are the same direction every time. Any ideas would be appreciated

    There are actually a couple of ways of doing this. The easiest is to grab the end bracket and drag it out to the desired amount of time. If you want it to be more exact, you can set the duration by selecting the times tab on the bottom left had corner of the timeline window.
