Thanks for the speedy replies. I am fairly certain its not the drive. I have played 100+GB lossless files before without a problem, and these are just little 10 sec. clips. No matter what I will be doing some tests later on today as you have suggested to make sure. I will post as soon as I find something out. Thanks.

    Hello All!
I just wanted to let you know that the 90 Mb/s card seems to have fixed my problem. When I move crazy fast over a high contrast area it may have one frame be out of place but not like before at all when it was every two seconds. I have tried panning slow and fast, walking hand held etc and it seems to be doing wonderful. Thanks.

    Hello Todd,

Thank you for the reply. I have a card coming tomorrow to test, but is there anything that I can do if it is the computer? This is the only computer I have an never had any problem like this before. Even after I export the file out of several different programs it still does it in the exact same spots. I figured if it was the computer than the spot where it skipped would vary a little bit. Just the other day I rendered out a blu ray file with a bit rate if 35 Mb/s and there was no problem. Would it be a ram issue or a processor issue? I am just so amazed that it could be the computer. I have read others who have a Mark 2 with an old iMac with only 2GB ram and it plays fine.

    Thanks Again,
    Nathan

  • Hello Ron & Jeff,

  • Hello Rob,
Thank you for the quick response. I have been using Encore for a while, I have no problem building menus etc. What I really need to know is how to export from Encore so he can use it in his program. He is using Cyberlink PowerDVD. Is there a way to export out of Encore to TS folders and BDMV folders?

    Thanks,
    Nathan

    Hi Kevin,
Thank you for the input. I did a test last night and seemed to work out very well. Would you use Adobe Media Encoder or Compressor to render the Lossless into MPEG2-DVD? Which have you had the best experiences with?

    Thanks Again,
    Nathan

    Hello Mr. Reiner,
Thank you for your input. I will try that method next. I have not rendered out a lossless yet because I fear the file size. I rendered out a 20 min. lossless clip a few weeks ago of a slideshow and turned out to be 70 gb. I have been using AE for everything for a long time. I actually thought that may be hurting me as well. I just became very comfortable with AE and have developed a great workflow. If this could be stealing from me I will go into PPro or FCP. I am trying Sorenson Squeeze right now from PPro. I will keep you apprised of the progress.
    Thank you for your input.

Actually here they both look bad. The first image is the MPEG render shot and the second is the HD native shot. Can’t really see much of a difference in here.
