I have been having the same problem, but on a much larger scale. I had almost two complete images. After going through frame by frame on both a de-interlaced and an interlaced version of my video I came to the conclusion that the problem was misinterpretation of the interlaced video where fast movement was present.

The solution that worked for me (after trying 9 other things that didn’t work 🙂 ) was to simply de-interlace in Final Cut (effects, video filters, video, de-interlace) BEFORE exporting or sending to Compressor instead of de-interlaceing as I exported.
