Now I’m having another problem with the exported file. When I try to burn to a dvd, I get strange distortions (as if it was a scratched LP record) in the audio towards the end, even though the audio was fine in my fcp project.

My temporary but effective solution, after doing some research and trying everything suggested in different forums, was modifying the audio track speed to 100.1% Now all the audio is in perfect sync. Hopefully, someday I can figure out how to get everything right from the beginning so I don’t have to make any adjustments

Hi Nick,

Wondering if you’ve found a solution to your problem yet… I have the exact same issue. I’m recording conferences in HD on my VIXIA and the audio straight into a CD recorder, then I import the AIFF file in FCP and it slowly gets out of sync. I’m desperate because something that should take me 2 minutes now takes me 1 hour!
