    Thanks, Mike.

I found it and it works.

Thanks for trying, Mike. I’ll use a clumsy workaround (render fragments of the Vegas 3 work to AVI and import to Movie Studio) or ditch Movie Studio.

    I Appreciate your help.

That does not work. Select and Copy (or Ctl-A and Ctl-C) work fine within Vegas 3 and I can then Paste (or Ctl-V) into the Vegas 3. But with the copied material still in memory Movie Studio does not accept any form of Paste command (Ctl-V, icon, or Edit menu). Are you able to do this? If so, what is the configuration of Movie Studio that allows Paste to happen?

Half of that works. I Select All and Copy from Vegas 3; but when I open Movie Studio and start a new project there is no Paste option – neither the icon, the menu or Control C.

It seems to need one more step in Movie Studio.

I was aware of that. Thanks.
My question is whether there is a utility that will convert VEG to VF so that I then can open the new, converted VF file.
