These lavs worked fine on my iPhones, tho an adapter was needed. Wondering if something is wrong w the camera or if it’s designed not to deliver power in some way to these kind of mics. When I first run the speed tests &amp; the drive is empty, it runs around 2000-2500+ MB/s read &amp; write.</p>

<p>&#8211; PPro 2020 will take you to the proxies if you are in proxy mode, but PPro 2022 will always take you to the online version. This is a stupid change and someone at Adobe needs to fix that.</p>

Are you sure that Reveal In Finder will take you to the original tho? That&#8217;s not my recollection from my last project and also I just watch a video on PPro proxy workflow that suggested using Reveal in Finder to find the proxy file, but stressed it would only work if toggle proxies is switch on (on being use proxies).</p>

If this is the case, then how do external TB4 enclosures w/ NVMe drives get close to 2750 MB/s just like TB3 enclosures? I&#8217;m looking for external M1 Mac options as well and came across a few TB4 DIY cases that boasted this speed.</p>

Can you tell me a bit more about how the EVA1 doesn&#8217;t play well w Resolve? If you transcode EVA1 files to ProRes, does it work better? I&#8217;m tempted to switch to Resolve for any number of reasons, including speed and PPro is about as buggy as that scene from Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom&#8230;</p>

I didn&#8217;t know latency could work that way w/ finding it hard to play an image sequence of thousands of smaller files. But, I have that going on in my timeline as I tend to keep many layers of alternative clips as options. I was thinking the latency was just more of the issue of SSD starting up faster that spinning drives, kind of&hellip;</p>

I’ll describe them more below. I have two external storage devices:<br />&#8211; OWC ThunderBay 4 w 4 x HDs in RAID 0 and connected via Thunderbolt 3. I tend to do that, but it takes up a lot of time and disk space. It definitely plays back better though. The problem is, it also seems to degrade the quality of the GoPro and drone footage.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m still curious though when the bottleneck is the disk speed. For all my years of editing, I&#8217;ve always assumed it was the CPU or GPU. But, I&hellip;</p>

And yes, the Canon files are named &#8220;00000.MTS&#8221; and go from here to &#8220;00083.MTS&#8221;. The original editor (I&#8217;m just trying to do some color and audio finishing) may have renamed the clips from the camera though. Regardless, when I open the XML into Resolve, the clips it shows for the project are all misnamed, duplicated, etc. Things&hellip;</p>
