    FWIW, I directed a short a while back and used the mini35 with the XL1. It looks like I may be directing something in the future with the Varicam. I really like the look of the shallow depth of field. I did notice that if the lens wasn’t spinning on the mini35 that it didn’t make too much of a difference, and I wonder how much noise it put or did not put into the picture. I am wondering what it may look like to cut between the DigiPrimes and the Pro35? And how it will look like outputted to film. I wonder if I can just shoot one indoor scene in particular with the Pro35 at a shallow depth of field and it will look okay…..just my musings.
