I upgraded to Vista with my new system and I don’t have any problems at all with my Adobe Production Studio (CS2). All the drivers work, all the programs work, everything is hunky dory. The only issue I’ve encountered so far is that there is some slight aliassing in the preview monitor window but this seems to be caused by the graphics card and not the OS.

Honestly I think people are a little too quick to judge Vista. Sure there were issues when it had just come out – mostly because the hardware manufacturers hadn’t built the drivers yet – but the OS really is quite solid. I think it’s just a fear of anything new.

If you have a new system, you might as well switch. Most of the problems arise when people try to install the new OS on an older PC that doesn’t have the necessary specs.

bottom line is I’ve had NONE of the problems other people describe and there’s nothing special about my system or the way I set it up.
