  • The problem is that AE is not a Universal Binary and therefore can’t acces the component vieo parts of Quicktime on a Mac Pro.

    I know that Adobe cares about it’s customers and is working feverishly on a UB version of AE. I don’t think they will make us wait for the next major release of AE – whenever that may be. A year or two?

    Similar problems here. Do you find that it happens in conjunction with rendering s a single frame or saving a psd file?

    I wasn’t seeing the problem for awhile and then yesterday I did both of those things and it happened. I’m going to start watching that to see if there is a correlation.

    What i hate more is when i launch the app and it goes thorugh the start up sequence but then fails to actaully open. The second time it works fine.
