    OS X and QuickTime 6.5.2

The project files and autosave vault are located on my computer’s hard drive. I just repaired permissions on the hard drive and tried to open the file but no luck. Also repaired the LaCie drive. Do I need to reboot?

I can completely launch FCP, but not the project. There is a render files folder on the Lacie Drive but of course it is empty. I haven’t moved anything around on the Lacie Drive although the other day I did begin backing up the project to the Lacie drive as well by dragging it in when I was done and shutting down for the day. I was told this by a friend. The only other thing that was connected was my deck.

Lacie disk format is MAC OS Extended. My computer has MAC OS X, is a 1.5 GHZ Power PC G4 with 1 GB DDRS DRAM. Is that any help?

I have a Mac G4 and a Lacie d2 with 100 GB. It is all connected through firewire cables (that is probably not the answer you are looking for.) When I try to open a file from the Autosave Vault I get a general error message in FCP.
