    Hey Matte,
    My actual needs don’t involve concert footage (i’ll explain below), but it was a better example: I’ve seen folks make music videos for bands where they’ve got the CD audio track, and they need to match concert footage to it, where of course, the band wasn’t playing the song at the same speed or w/ the same timing precision as the real audio cd’s song. So speeding up or slowing down footage a bit is needed to match the 2 up.

    My real need is: I have stock footage of a baby banging his hands on a table. I have a music audio track that I need to match it to. I’d like to be able to slow or speed the footage between each drum whack, so that they match.

    Do I really need to break up the footage with mark-ins & mark-outs and do fit-to-fills for each drum beat (as Steve suggested)?
