Ok I will try compressor. Thanks Rafael. Here is my last question. How do I render out full quality in FCP. Is proress the best. My file is 1280X720 usually straight from my JVC HM700. Thanks for your help

Read a lot on the subject and found several ways to fix it but none of them worked. I bought quicktime pro and went through all of the steps from Video Copilot, checked the “Enable compatibility with FC colors” box and even downloaded x264 plugin and followed those steps. My video is still washed out. Why even do all the detailed color correction if its not going to turn out right. Any other suggestions would be great. I’m totally disgusted right now

yea that is my fault. Thanks for the help though. Now I need to start working with adjustment layers. Thanks again john

All that did was copy my blending options over. I am trying to copy effects like invert and hue/saturation over to another layer
