    You can also double-click on the end of a clip. This seems to be how it usually get’s stuck this way. Just double click to reset it.

    I would’ve recommended using the Pan/Crop and matching it up that way. Click on the “Lock Aspect Ratio” and “Size About Center” buttons on the side and drag the crop box and make it bigger, lower the opacity of your overlay clip, and match it up that way.

    I’ve actually searched for this before, but I don’t believe what you are looking for exists for Vegas. After Effects has plugins that you can easily attach and connect to have this effect but Vegas just simply doesn’t carry this. You can, however, achieve a similar effect by manually adjusting your footage with keyframes similar to what is found in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIhgkRUBx7M
