Thanks, but I’m looking for a directional inner shadow, I want the light/shadow to be only on one side of the object, an inner glow wouldn’t give the right result.

Maybe I’ll try downloading AE cs3. Are there no plugins for casting inner shadows?

Hey, my problem has cleared up. I found, thanks to Mike Shaw, how to fix the tga-plug-in in PS CS2, so I won’t need PS 7 after all. Thanks anyway for the help, man.

It finally works for me with the CS2. I first tried it with 6.0 because I lost my cs2 but I retrieved it today, so everything’s cool now. Thank you very much. I could kiss you.

Oh, wait. I tried the plug-in in ps 6.0. I can open pictures now with a transparent background, so that’s good. But than I draw something on a transparent bg and save it, and when I want to open it again, I get the ‘new image’ window. So I click ok, and of course I get this white window. So it seems I’m unable to save something as a tga and re-open it again. :s

Thx for the response. It closes when it starts up, you know, you have initializing…, reading…, loading brushes, and at initializing color preferences, it shuts. My computer is quite recent (3.2 gHz I think, 1Gb memory,…), so that shouldn’t be the problem. Besides, it has worked in the past.

The reason I prefer ps 7 is because when I use another version, I have a problem with tga’s. When I have a drawing with a transparent background (I’m studying animation), it just shows the drawing with a white background, and the contours of the drawing look kind of ugly. That’s really a problem, because I want to edit the drawing so I can use it in After Effects.
PS 7 is the only version I don’t have this problem in. I’ve encountered it in 6, cs1 and 2. That’s why I prefer walking instead of driving my Porsche :). Maybe it’s a setting or some option that’s not on, I don’t know really.

    Any thoughts?

Thx, but with my ps7, I didn’t need all that stuff, it looks like a lot of unnecessary work. I really can’t figure out how it comes that it doesn’t want to start anymore. I tried unstalling and reinstalling, but all that doesn’t help.

It would also help if someone could explain to me why my ps 7 doesn’t work anymore. I start it up, you know, it’s searching for its components and all of the sudden, photoshop disappears like it never was there. I tried to reinstall it, but it’s the same scenario. Any help would be appreciated…
