I have read that “Match Sequence Settings” is not recommended. and I thought MPEG4 has a better quality than MPEG2. am I right?

for example I want to show my film in the university screening room. or send it to some little festivals. in that case what would you recommend? h.264 ?

and you know my another big problem is that Canon XHA1 footage has 25 kbps data rate. when I set the export target bit rate on 26 kbps. the file ends up being 9 GB!

what should I do?!
