    Thanks Jeff! This is some great information. So I guess the next question is:

    If my footage is HD and my target disc is SD, should I…
    A) Create an SD timeline with the scaled-down HD footage in Premiere and then burn a DVD in Encore? (do I still need MRQ?)
    B) Or create an HD timeline in Premiere and let Encore convert it to DVD with MRQ?

    It doesn’t look like my post is under the Alcorn McBride thread…I see that post that came after mine, if that is what you are referring to. I think mine was posted before the AM thread…unless there is something I’m missing. I don’t use these forums very often, so I’ll pay more attention next time. But I’m pretty sure I started a new thread.

    I put this post here because you would use a video switcher for “live” multi-camera editing. Edirol and they did not have any documentation for it…none. Not even a PDF. But I was able to get in contact with someone at Roland who was able to send me a PDF manual.
