    I have a macbook pro 1 1. 2 video cars work well with zero issues.

    I upgraded the firmware to 2.1 ( both video cards worked prior to firmware update )
    I have 2 ati radeon 5770s . they are not exact models ( look way different )
    they are both connected to each other with a cross fire cable.
    running 3 monitors
    running a patched version of Yosemite 10.10.5 (pikes boot.efi)
    16 gigs ram
    2 x 3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors

    right now editing video sucks! I am editing 4k. was working a little better before I upgraded to yosemite,,, but I am not sure I plugged the video cards in the same way.

    what im wondering is if it matters what ports i plug into for better performance… should I plug into both video cards? or should I run all 3 monitors that I am using on 1 video card and which one?
