Hi Baz .I remember seeing that rig fall out of a helicopter.Can we get to gether and have a mens cordial and talk ex3 and Nano flash stuff.Would be great to get your advice on some of the more technical sides of my EX 3.

You may be right Craig.This happened when they did the firmware upgrade and replaced the lens. It may be the upgrade as it also screwed up my 60fps. 50 fps is OK but 60 with any combo of shutter or no shutter results in horrible flicker and banding running through the frame. All fine before the firmware upgrade.Any way the EX3 is down for the count until sony can help me out.Maybe Fujinon could get involved and let us know that it is a Sony problem.

Just had my lens replaced on the EX3 and it is unusable.I will try to get another new one or at worst ask for my original lens back.It wasn’t great but it was a lot better than the new one supplied.We do a lot of interviews which always start at the wide end of the lens and then zoom to a single from a two shot.Forget it .It looks like some one has bumped you from behind when you try to ease the zoomrocker.Let me know if any one has success with the fix on this problem.

Hi Dano.Sony Parts list cant find that number for the plate but found the screws.Are you sure that is the right numbers for the double screw plate.

Michael do you have any problems with shooting 60fps with the XDR.A lot of my work will be 720-25p 60fps and I was curious to know if the XDR handles the slo-mo okay.

About to buy the Nano for my EX-3 and was interested in any info on the 720-25p 60fps quality.Also time lapse is of interest.Any one had issues with the XDR concerning these formats and frame rates.

I wish I had heard about your EX 3 dvd’s a few weeks ago as I am about to travel with one for the next few weeks and even though I am getting fantastic results out of the camera I have had some edge problems in the verticals in 25p. I am sure your dvds would be an invaluable time saving reference guide.Unfortunately I live in Australia and would not be able to lay my hands on one before I go.While I will be ordering one asap, do you have any quick tips on reducing those horizontal and vertical aliasing and jagged edges that seem to appear when shooting in the progressive modes.
