I had no problem, I’m just trying to figure out how the program actually functions.

No No, playback is fine it’s actually fantastic, that’s not the issue, what’s interesting here is how the program actually works, that’s what I’m trying to figure out.

Right now I have a canon 24p 1080 clip playing, on four different time lines…

exdcam 24p
exdcam 29.97i
Ntsc
and the “correct” canon time line 24p 1080

Now playback is exactly the same on all the time lines, because I just realized PP do not actually import the clips it simply reference them to the original clip.

So looking at the clip in Ntsc mode you only see a small portion of the clip, but you can re-frame it and so on because the whole clip is still there.

Now my questions is what am I looking at in these four time lines?
Is it always the original clip, or is it a preview version of it?
