hi thanks the for tutorial, i can see how that can be so helpful.
but i think my problem is that the original super 8 footage was shot at 18fps,
then transferred at 23.98 fps. so the digital files i have are at 23.98, but in order
to pack 18 into 24, every third frame was doubled, so when i apply twixtor, this causes pauses.
unsure how to deal with this…
would be grateful to receive any ideas you might have

i’m running final cut 7.03. the twixtored slo mo is perfect and smooth, but very regularly there is a pause in the image, and then the slo mo starts again. i’m guessing the problem has something to do with frame rates of the original material, unsure what to look at to fix.
