I have the canon hf 100 and final cut pro 6. I am having difficulty with editing my clips. I am new to final cut but it seems that the AVCHD format is a real pain right now. The software to edit it (in my case final cut) is difficult at best. I could be wrong but AVCHD seems to place you on the “bleeding edge” of technology. Any one else out there using AVCHD and final cut pro?

I noticed your post on AVCHD and “issues” I have the Canon HF 100 camcorder that uses AVCHD. I use FinalCut Pro 6 and seem to be having “issues” working with the format. I am just a beginner on
Final Cut and don’t know if problems I run into are because I just don’t know the software that well or it is indeed an AVCHD issue. Are there any books or magazines on this subject?

I think I solved the problem. I changed the codec from Dv ntsc 48 to apple intermediate code 1080. I no longer have the audio problem after doing this.
