  • I imagine that this post is almost dead and that everyone has moved on to bigger and better things, however, I just thought I’d share my experience.

I have had a HVX200 for a few years now and I’m pleased with it in many ways. However, I have continuously had the halo effect on the right hand side and fully agree with Per. I am looking to upgrade my camera now simply because I can no longer stand having this halo. I have been able to get away with it for web work or for delivery of video on screens that are small…but it is very noticeable on the big screen.

I really don’t want to go over ‘old ground’ and have this debate all over again and the purpose of this post is twofold:

    1. Thanks to Per for trying to solve this issue and for creating a lively discussion on the issue.

    2. Is this problem still present on the HVX200ae?

    3. Per, could you tell me how to achieve the workaround? I use shake and I’m not too sure how to implement your solution.

    Many thanks, Mick
