I followed your advice and all was working fine until this afternoon. I was capturing with my camera thru firewirethis morning. Took a break and connected my camera same exact settings as earlier and blam “general error”. I seem to be getting this on a frequent basis. I’m not the most tech savoy person and I’m wondering if it’s the basic set up of my system or if I’m not doing proper maintence to the system? I have a Mac G4 466 processor running Final Cut HD this didn’t happen in FCP4. Is it to much for my computer?
