Well, there are numerous tracks – i am trying to figure out how to flatten everything down, any advice ?
ive heard i need to “commit multi cam edits” but after that i dont know what i need to do next…

i have done this, i still get the cannot link clip because extent do not match timecode etc.
🙁 any other ideas ?

darn, i was really hoping there would be some sort of method no matter how difficult it would be to actually make this work, i did not do the original importing or ingesting, i was hired after it was done and movie was already half through being cut by the editor.
so whats the options for us now if we have to go to davinci resolve for color correction now ? just to export the entire film sequence and go into davinci ?

it was brought in direct import and stored on the avid unity.

they were transcoded from another facility and we received the mxf’s and placed them on the unity and began working, shortly after we received drives with the original arri quick time mov’s on them.

The files were transcoded at another post facility, so now we have the original arri quicktime movs on a network drive, the mxf media on the avid unity, my boss would like me to relink the bins/sequences to the arri quicktime movs on the network drive.
so yes the file name may have changed and the path has definitely changed.
I’m gonna take a wild guess and say both changed.
