I have tried that and the resulting Dolby AC-3 is not compatible with the Sonic encoded AC-3.
    Ant other thoughts.
    Thanks for the interest

Many thanks Jeremy. I had to reinstall the whole Final Cut Studio suite because I suddenly could not access the help document but everything is now working and I was able to encode the MPEG with window burn.

    Thanks again

    Hi Jeremy,

Many thaanks for the continued interest and help.

I tried to open Compressor and it will not launch so that is almost certainly the problem. My question now is should I uninstall Compressor if that is possible, should I uninstall FCP if that is possible or just reinstall the Compressor application if that is possible.

    Any further guidence much appreciated

Yes the timeline window is active and I’ve selected the sequence to export (the whole timeline) and still the Compressor option is grayed out

    Thanks Jeremy,

I just tried to export using Compressor but that option is grayed out. I know I have the Compressor application in the Applications folder. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks for the reply Steve.

I’m going from FCP. I don’t mind the work so long as I know how to do it. Can you give me the details
    TIA
    Michael
