I double checked and the Easy Setup was set at 25fps and only aiff files were used. When I reimported to a new timeline, the problem did not get fixed.

I’m not sure how the PAL to NTSC conversion was done because it was handled by a facility outside the country. I will attempt to find out.
But, just to be clear, the original footage was shot in PAL. The new soundtrack was mixed to the PAL picture. Shouldn’t that audio be in sync?
(The NTSC video conversion was done “after” the new audio mix although, due to delivery deadlines, I did the post edit of the NTSC first, without any audio issues.)

Somehow I don’t think that’s the problem. The show was originally shot on PAL, then converted to NTSC. The NTSC version had no audio problems and used the exact same mixed audio tracks.

I should have given more information: all the clips are either Photoshop files or generated text clips. There are no video clips. Would this make a difference?

Follow up to my previous post:
I changed the “source TC”, not Aux TC.
However, another problem is that, while the source TC in the browser now reflects the modified TC, the Timeline TC starts at 1:00:00:00 and I can’t get it to show the new source TC. -
Someone suggested this work-around:
Open the clip in the Viewer
Modify Tab click Timecode
Add Aux TC 1
Export QT MovieI just tried this and opened the new file in Quicktime and, indeed, there was now an Aux TC (which matches the window-burn TC).
Will this allow me to now conform the higher resolution file to my offline edit?
