Hello,
I’m having the same issue with Vegas Pro 9c..and I’ve tryed to fix it with TSMuxer. So far – it works fine, but there is a different problem now: As soon as the playback gets “close” to a cut or transition (about 1 or 2 seconds in advance), the video skips a bit (juddering, one time only). That happens with each an every transition. Vegas does Smart Rendering here. Looks like, there is some problem, if Vegas has to deal with transitions. If I render the whole file…there is no problem. But I really would like to use Smart Rendering here, ’cause it saves a lot of time. Perhaps another framerate-issue?
If I don’t use TSMuxer, the playback is fine…until the “8-Minutes” issue starts.
I’m using a 1920x1080i, 25FPS File, recorded by a Sony Cam.
Did someone of you experienced the same trouble? I feel a little “trapped” by having the choice between one or the other issue:-(

I hope I did not confuse you guys too much and would really appreciate your help.
